The Business Development Center is where all the phone calls and appointments for the dealership are taken. A person in this position should have a working knowledge of lead handling best practices, CRM, phone skills and digital marketing landscape. This individual will be responsible for the conversion of opportunities and generation of all traffic in a profitable manner. The BDC team member must be friendly, patient, enthusiastic, and a self-motivated team player with outstanding communication skills, a positive attitude, and feel very comfortable speaking on the phone.


  • 2+ years in a call center environment
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Answering all Inbound phone calls according to a proven, pre-set script and schedule service appointments.
  • Some automotive/BDC experience desired but not required, however, must have some basic “technical” understanding.
  • Learn and keep up to date with all technological advances and product knowledge
  • An ability to work within multiple computer applications at the same time.
  • Ability to handle customers expectations in the luxury service segment
  • Complete all daily assigned tasks and all work assigned by the manager.
  • Managing internet & telephone sales and service leads, responding to inquiries in a timely fashion
  • Make 75-100 outbound calls each day
  • Adapt to changing needs of the department
  • Self-motivated team player
  • Strong Verbal and Written Communication Skills, Excellent Computer Skills and, Excellent Customer Service Skills
