Reporting to our Senior Manager, Human Resources, we are searching for a Recruiter to join our team.

As a Recruiter at Pfaff, you will be responsible for creating and executing a new recruitment strategy, the execution of the hiring process, and maintaining a pipeline of highly qualified candidates for both the corporate office and the dealerships.

Primary Responsibilities

Although no two days are the same, your day to day responsibilities may look like this:

- Develop recruiting materials designed to attract qualified candidates.
- Manage an efficient and effective full life-cycle recruiting process, including: consulting with hiring managers on position needs and creating staffing plans, creating posting descriptions & job ads, sourcing candidates, qualifying applications, integrating tests and assessments, presenting qualified candidates and managing negotiation and offer process.
- Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications.
- Conduct candidate sourcing activities for both passive and active candidates ensuring that candidate pools and pipelines are created and filled with diverse candidates that hold the necessary experience, skills and competencies.
- Develop a proactive sourcing strategy to create a strong pipeline of high-quality college & graduate-level candidates and foster long-term relationships for future positions.
- Collaborate with the HR team and assist in creating and maintaining a world-class candidate/employee experience.
- Provide appropriate coaching and guidance on the interviewing and selection process to all hiring managers; assist with the development of training programs & recruitment tools for hiring managers.
- Partner with Marketing & Communications teams to develop and maintain Recruitment communications, website content, etc.
- Manage employment and college/technical school events and programs, such as career fairs, job fairs, etc.
- Partner with the HR team to provide an effective and consistent on-boarding experience.
- Provide reports and metrics in support of the company’s recruitment initiatives.
- Stay informed of trends and innovative recruiting techniques to attract and compete for top talent in the market.
- Additional duties and project may be assigned from time to time.

Required Skills and Experience

- 5+ years progressive experience in recruitment, preferably in retail and/or hospitality with experience proactively sourcing passive talent.
- Track record of managing the end-to-end recruiting process in a fast paced, high volume environment.
- Experience building employment brand strategies and using digital and social platforms for recruitment efforts.
- Positive, passionate champion of the Pfaff culture & core values.
- Ability to quickly gain an understanding of the business needs and strategy and articulate the needs of a position.
- Continuous improvement mindset; continually seeks out new ways to do things and generate efficiencies.
- Strong customer focus and ability to effectively and quickly build relationships, establish trust, respect, competence and confidence.
- Exceptional communication (verbal, written, presentation), facilitation, and training skills with experience engaging and partnering at all levels.
- Demonstrate a sense of urgency and strong attention to detail.
- Strong time management and prioritization/organizational skills.
- Ability to develop creative solutions that address relevant business needs and support the culture and environment.
- Strong knowledge of employment law, specifically how it applies to recruitment and selection criteria used.
