As part of the Manheim Toronto team, this position is responsible for supporting the shop with administrative responsabilities.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure charges are applied to a vehicle before it sells, and verify that information is accurately recorded.
  • Maintain documentation, verification of invoices to ensure correct amount on the work orders compared to actual invoice cost
  • Assist manager in coordinating completion of mech services in accordance with client SLA’s.
  • Respond to department inquiries relating to status of parts and vehicle repair, provide quality service, and assist in resolving problems.
  • Communicate with departments and management on daily basis to make sure all information is received and posted before a sale.
  • Complete estimate details related to diagnosis and repair orders.
  • Submit estimates via email to internal and external clients.
  • Maintain current knowledge of account contracts relating to posting.
  • Visibly demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and modeling the behaviors related to such. Actively participate in support of all safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
  • May be required to work overtime as business needs dictate

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 3-5 years of clerical or administrative experience in automotive industry preferred
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record required.
  • Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission.
  • Good communication and organizational skills required.
  • Excellent computer software skills necessary, including Microsoft Office
  • Must be able to use office equipment (i.e., copier, scanner, etc.).
  • Good leadership skills required; must be able to lead and motivate people
  • Self managed and directed.
  • Medium strength; ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Stooping, bending, twisting, climbing stairs, pushing pulling, walking and reaching may be required for the completion of job duties.
  • Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time.
  • Ability to perform repetitive data entry tasks, manual dexterity.
  • Vision abilities required include close, distance and depth perception.
