Summary: 

Manheim’s Digital Sales Manager is responsible for producing market revenue growth through an end-to-end sales strategy, selling all Manheim Digital services to existing and new customers. This person is charged with aggressively growing existing and new dealer accounts as well as collaborating with the Commercial team (OEM/Fleet & Lease/Repo,etc.) to grow adoption of digital services and channels. Success will be measured by the individual’s ability to generate incremental business and sustaining ongoing revenue generation while ensuring that customer expectations are met or exceeded.

 

Position Duties:

  •      Responsible for generating new business and revenue growth through sales across multiple digital channels nationally including Private Store, MUVIT and Upstream platforms
  •      Build strong, lasting relationships with clients and leadership at operating locations
  •      Head up and conduct timely and ongoing update meetings with key clients
  •     Work with Commercial Team, clients and Manheim marketing department to drive awareness and attain weekly commercial volume objectives with targeted marketing campaigns and events nationally
  •      Work closely with Cox Auotomotive data teams to utilize analytics to drive positive results for clients
  •      Engage with marketing team/call centre to measure effectiveness of campaign through ROI analysis including client debrief presentations
  •      Responsible for onboarding and ongoing support with new client business and grow existing Manheim client base. Work closely with site operations, Technology Operations, and Commercial sales teams
  •      Align closely with technology team supporting all digital channels and platforms to support/guide client expectations
  •       Manage client inventory at all sites including identifying aged inventory situations/opportunities
  •      Work with regional commercial personnel/auction and General Managers to assist in driving operational excellence at location including training of new personnel where required
  •       Work proficiently with AS400 system and internal platform MCOE.
  •       Perform other duties as assigned by manager

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required 
  • Previous experience in a sales role with a proven track record of success; Automotive, auction, wholesale internet sales/service a plus; experience in selling and servicing an account list; proven track record of growing accounts from existing customer base.
