Pfaff’s Harley-Davidson in Richmond Hill is expanding and growing their team. We are actively searching for a polished and professional Full Time Parts Manager. The position is responsible for ensuring the needs of the service department are being met, via overseeing the parts and accessories employees, and their day to day functions.

Primary Responsibilities

- Set-up and maintain a smooth-running, efficient parts and accessories department
- Ensure employees are well trained and available when needed
- Review all stock orders toe nsure a fast-moving balanced inventory of parts and accessories
- Supervise and maintain accurate up-to-date inventory management and control system
- Establish and/or maintain procedures for ordering, receiving, loggin into inventory, displaying, and selling all merchandise
- Generate and review inventory reports from Dealer Information System
- Employe sound management practices to ensure the parts department contributes acceptable levels of gross and net profit
- Maximize return on investment of parts inventory
- Grow the volume of parts and accessories sales
- Maintain budgeted revenue and expense objectives
- Develop advertising and promotional campaigns for merchandise
- Set and/or maintain and monitor policies and procedures for parts and accessories
- Management employee performance (evaluate and council)
- Provide training for all parts and accessories employees (seminars; workshops; P&A sales, inventory management, etc.)
- Model superior customer service behaviour for all P&A personnel by maintaining positive relationships with customers, employees, GM, and the owner

Required Skills and Experience

- Excellent communication, verbal, and customer service skills
- Availability to work evenings, and weekends, essential for peak seasons
- Experience with retail sales and inventory management
- Prefer knowledge and experience with servicing of Harley-Davidson motorcycles, and other products (auto and/or Powersports) sold by the dealership, or the demonstrated ability to quickly learn them
- Experience with Point-of-Sale and Parts & Service management computer software or the ability to quickly learn due to general knowledge and experience with customers
