Job Description

Toyo Tires Canada currently has the entry level position of ORDER DESK COORDINATOR / INSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE available at our Richmond Head Office and we’re excited to tell you about it !

OVERVIEW The Inside Sales Representative (“ISR”) provides support to the organization in the areas of customer service, sales staff support, ordering, invoicing and general sales department assistance. This position ensures alignment with the initiatives of the Board of Directors, J-SOX and our corporate policies. The ISR liaises, services and builds relationships with internal clients, suppliers and customers. In collaboration with the Sales Team and all departments, the ISR is responsible for the success of Toyo Tires Canada Inc. (“TCI”)


Team Collaboration • Provides input into the Sales Department strategic planning, budgeting, policies, procedures and operations • Promotes and maintains a workplace culture that encourages ethical practices, individual integrity and economic and social responsibility • Provides strong, effective and highly visible team collaboration, is motivated and contributes fully to the realization of TCI’s vision, mission and objectives .

Customer Service / Sales Team Support • Coordinates wholesale, retail, end user and sales team related queries • Handles inquiries regarding customer account pricing, backorders, shipments, stock and invoices • Collaborates with outside sales team on various matters including order status, product status, incoming/outgoing shipments, sales campaign qualifications, customer relation calls and product pricing.

Ordering • Enters data and handles back order releases • Coordinates product waybill shipments with customers, confirming delivery options • Coordinates direct container shipments with freight companies, shipping lines and customers

Invoicing • Invoices shipped products per sales campaign pricing • Verifies pricing is applied to all invoices according to associated programs • Ensures price accuracy of credit note invoices on products The Order Desk Coordinator / Inside Sales Representative performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS • A degree or diploma that contributes to the role and the operation would be considered an asset • Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a similar role within a customer service, call center, sales-oriented or product distribution environment • Must have experience working with Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis on Excel • May have experience working in an administrative or accounting related position • May have experience working with information and data management systems • Must be willing to participate in ongoing education and training for the role • Must be fluent in English (spoken and written). Fluency in French or another language is considered an asset Due to the nature of this role, we will require successful completion of background checks including employment reference and criminal record.
