Job Description

Steele Chevrolet in Dartmouth, NS has an immediate requirement for a Non-Prime Finance Manager.

We are currently looking for an ambitious self-starter that can run a self-sufficient department.  The Non-Prime Finance Manager will be responsible for assisting our customers to secure financing through our large network of lenders while introducing customers to a wide-range of top of the line products to protect their new investment.

Primary job duties are maintaining customer satisfaction and protecting the legal and financial welfare of the dealership. You will also be responsible for ensuring daily review of new programs and incentives offered by the various lenders and the manufacturer; maintaining a clear understanding of the programs. You will also be responsible for ensuring that deliveries are set up immediately after approval received with communication between the clients, Sales Managers and Service Department so as appropriate measures are taken for proper delivery. It will be a priority to ensure any issues with accounting or processing of deals be dealt within a short time period. Your follow up, communication, organizational and closing skills will be superior, ensuring every customer is contacted daily until deal is finalized by delivery.

Capabilities and Credentials: 1+ Years Experience in Prime and Non-Prime Finance office, automotive sales or equivalent work experience. Previous dealership experience is Required. Excellent analytical skills, able to manage multiple priorities under strict timelines and work well in a demanding dynamic environment and meet overall objectives. Result focused and detail orientated. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Strong problem identification and resolution skills. High level of personal integrity, and the ability to professionally handle confidential matters and show an appropriate level of judgement and maturity. Strong relationship building skills with a high degree of stamina. Valid driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract. A strong willingness to learn and adapt.
