Sterne Acura is now hiring for a Service Advisor to expand to our exisiting team. This is an outstanding opportunity to join a busy Service Department Team with Excellent Earning Potential.
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Greet each customer in a prompt, courteous manner, acknowledge and communicate with customers .
Secure agreement from customers before repairs; cover cost estimate; and approximate time when vehicle's work will be completed.
Advise customers on the care of their vehicle’s and the value of maintaining their vehicles in accordance with manufacture's specifications, using maintenance schedule.
Communicate the need for additional work when needed; explain the details to the customer, including the additional cost and time consideration and document properly on repair order.
Follow up progress of each repair order during the day, contact customers by telephone regarding changes in the estimate or time promised.
Handle telephone/text inquiries regarding work in process and appointments and return phone messages promptly.
Confirm warranty information and policies to customers.
Stay up to date on technical and performance information on all vehicles serviced by the dealership.
Book service appointments and check for any outstanding Safety Re-Calls on the customer’s vehicle and perform if necessary.
Able to complete all Acura E-Learning Web Courses outlined within time permitted.
Honda/Acura experience an asset.
Monday to Friday , able to work weekends and night shift.
5-10 years customer service experience.
