We Offer Competitive pay plan along with a comprehensive benefits plan (with options to suit your needs) Employee benefits i.e./ Group RRSP Plans Tools for success include: ongoing training and management support Opportunities for career growth within our organization Educational Assistance Program Vehicle purchase program Employee discounts on products and services Responsibilities Undertake tasks escalated by Tier 1 and 2 personnel Assist associates either in person, over the phone or by digital communication Create and maintain technical documentation Create and maintain instruction manuals for various products Coordinate installation and maintenance of PC’s and peripherals General support as required by the IT Manager Assist users with hardware and software issues Assist IT Manager with planning/review of Software, Hardware and “Near IT” components Assess situations, provide guidance and assistance utilizing your strong analytical and problem-solving skills Work well with colleagues using strong verbal and written communication skills Multi-task and manage a variety of diverse (and sometimes conflicting) requests, priorities, and activities Undertake responsibilities at any/all Weins group locations. Driving between locations will be required Other duties, projects, etc. as requested by management. Qualifications A diploma from a recognized post-secondary program in computer technology Experience supporting desktop software – including Windows clients, Microsoft Office, and internet browsers A very high degree of proficiency with current versions of Microsoft Exchange, Sharepoint, Windows Server, firewalls, WiFi infrastructure, and VOIP Experience with network security and networking protocols 3-5 years of relevant experience in a comparable role Excellent verbal and written communication skills Troubleshooting skills with an ability to resolve complex IT issues in a reasonable time frame Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Strong work ethics with a proven reliability factor A valid Ontario Driver’s License and transportation for offsite work (mileage reimbursement provided) We thank all applicants for their interest in advance.
